Todd Harmeson is a seasoned public relations professional with over 30 years of dedicated service in public safety. As the owner and operator of THPR Group, Todd brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and a passion for communication to every project he undertakes.
Todd's career is marked by his unwavering commitment to excellence and his deep-rooted belief in the power of effective communication. He is an Advanced Public Information Officer (PIO) certified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and currently serves as the PIO for both the Chesterfield Police Department and the East Madison Fire Territory in Madison County, Indiana. His expertise in crisis communication, social media management, and public relations has made him a trusted advisor and mentor to many in the field.
Raised by his supportive and inspiring mother, Sandy Brehm, Todd developed the confidence and skills necessary to run his own business. His dedication to family values is reflected in the way he leads THPR Group, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for both clients and team members.
Through "ThePioGuy" platform, Todd shares his extensive knowledge and experience, supporting current and aspiring Public Information Officers / Crisis Communicators. He also hosts the "MakeEveryDayAmazing" podcast, promoting positive thinking and motivation.
